I would like to walk the route with my son. Thinking a year of planning would /will be needed. So looking at a start date in spring of 2018. I would like to do it complete with a wagon and oxen or a mule. I am thinking of making the trip for more than self satisfaction. Is there any thoughts, ideas, desires from others that I can take with me? Input and directions and resources would be very much appriciated. I currently live on the trail and think of this daily.
